Chat GPT has really changed my live. It made things easy and it is able to assist me in my daily live. Here are some cool tools that I found and I use almost all of them quite often. Maybe you will find something that can help you too.
Web Chat GPT (Chrome Extension)
This is an extension that allows you to cover Chat GPT’s weakness by adding relevant web results to your prompts. What is good about this is that it is integrated directly to the interface of Chat GPT, making the tool more reliable as sometimes you need to fact check or make sure the info provided for that particular subject is accurate. Since the current version only gives info up to 2021, this will help with up to date content.
It is located at the bottom and you can customize it by having it show X number of results from the present and also select the country that you want news information. Do keep in mind it automatically pulls the first page results and will summarize the info for you. You can turn it off if you want to go back to the normal version.
Merlin (Chrome Extension)
Allows you to utilize Chat GPT on any website by using the button (Command + G / Command + M). Why is this powerful? It can save you a lot of time when it comes to the following:
Summarizing long text that is complicated
If the text was too long and you just wanted a short summary, you can just copy the text, press Command + M to use Merlin. Prompt Merlin to summarize it.
Coming up with responses for things you are unsure of
Not know what to say for certain emails or messages? Copy the text and ask Merlin to make a proper response for you. This works for both work and personal life. You can copy from facebook messenger,
Responding to Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.)
This works for replying fast to people on social media. Sometimes you want to respond to a comment but cannot think of something good to say. Ask Merlin to give and witty response to comments. It saves you a lot of time and you can respond to more people as well if you wish.
God in a Box for Whats App (40 Messages Free!)
You know if use Whats App for work and on those boring meetings or any group chat you want to participate in, this tool will help you respond to any prompt or questions easily.
Get help from an AI on a variety of topics by sending messages to the chatGPT bot. You can get up to 40 messages for free, but if you want unlimited messages, you’ll need to sign up for the Single User plan, which starts at $6 per month.
Probably not the best tool for personal use, but for work or business, it can help be more efficient and responding to people.
Having this tool will help you respond to more clients if you are selling a product or just answering generic questions.
YouTube Transcriber
This awesome tool allows you to transcribe YouTube videos into different languages. This will help save time for anyone that wants to expand their audience past English speakers. If your channel has an audience from many Spanish speaking countries, it will save you money as well from hiring a dedicated translator for this.
Do keep in mind that the tool is in demand and can take some time until your video gets processed.
DALL-E
Many people know about Chat GPT, but not many are talking about the picture version of it. DALL-E is created by OpenAI that is great at generating images from text descriptions, using a process called “image synthesis.”
For example, you could give DALL-E a text description of a “white suit astronaut riding on a flying rainbow unicorn in space, digital art high resolution” and it would generate a corresponding image of it using AI imagination. It is trained on a large dataset of images and their corresponding text descriptions, allowing it to learn the relationship between the two.
This is great as now you can create your own cool images for your website or blog without having to worry about copyright infringement or having to come up with your own images. Most images generated take 30 seconds. Once you get good at giving prompts and use specific words, your images will turn out great.
Stable Diffusion
Stable Diffusion is similar to DALL-E. It is a latent text-to-image diffusion model capable of generating photo-realistic images given any text input, cultivates autonomous freedom to produce incredible imagery, empowers billions of people to create stunning art within seconds. The best part about it is that it is also free!
Also, if you are using Windows, you can install in on your PC to create an unlimited amount of images, granted that your computer has good graphic cards to make it work. This is a game changer for digital artists as it will save you a lot of time and hassle. You can watch Kevin’s simple guide above if you want it on your PC.
Quillbot Tools
Quillbot has a list of very helpful tools created by AI to help you in your daily life.
Grammar Checker
A free tool that checks your grammar. Great for a student or a writer to help them proof read their work. Asking your family, spouse or friend or teacher may not always work, as they are not as patient and they do not have time to help you out as you wish.
Paraphraser
This is a free tool that allows you to rephrase short sentences up to 125 words. The paid version allows for a longer text. Great for creating different variations of mundane introductions or short summaries for your YouTube videos.
Plagiarism Checker
QuillBot’s Plagiarism Checker analyzes whether any section of your text did not properly attribute authorship to content already published on the web or in books, research papers, academic papers, or news sources. It is a paid tool though.
