Turn A Gundam (1999–2000) – Correct Century (CC) 2343-5

In the Correct Century, a long time after a big war that destroyed the world, Earth is mostly not livable anymore. Some people from Earth went to live on the Moon while Earth heals. They are called the “Moonrace” and they keep checking if Earth is okay for people to come back.

A boy named Rolan Cehack and two others come down to Earth for a mission to gather information. Rolan stays on Earth for a year and works for the Heim Family, who are rich and live in a society that looks like old Victorian times. They have a special ceremony when someone becomes an adult, and it involves a big stone statue called the “White Doll.”

One day, the Moonrace suddenly comes to Earth and wants to take it by force. During the attack, the White Doll breaks apart, and inside is a robot suit called the “Turn A Gundam.” Rolan gets inside the robot and it causes a tense situation between the people from Earth and the Moon. Now, Rolan and everyone else must work together to keep peace and avoid another terrible war.

G-Saviour (2000) – UC 0223

G-Saviour (Gジーセイバー, Jī-Seibā) is a live-action television film released in 1999 as part of the Gundam anime franchise. It was created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Gundam and produced by Polestar Entertainment in collaboration with Sunrise, the animation studio behind Gundam. The film is set in the Universal Century timeline, a fictional era in the Gundam universe.

In the story, it is Universal Century 0223, and the Earth Federation has collapsed. The space colonies, now known as independent space “Settlements,” are divided into two factions: the Congress of Settlement Nations (CONSENT) and the Settlement Freedom League. Mark Curran, a former CONSENT pilot working for Hydro-Gen, a research facility, rescues a CONSENT lieutenant named Tim Holloway during a mission. However, their base is taken over by the Congressional Armed Forces, led by Mark’s former superior, Jack Halle.

As the facility’s security system activates, Mark investigates and encounters Cynthia Graves, one of the intruders. Mark saves her from being executed by Jack, while another intruder is killed. The film follows Mark’s journey as he tries to uncover the truth behind the attack and navigate the complex power struggles between the factions.

G-Saviour was theatrically released in Japan and later broadcast on TV Asahi. While it is part of the Gundam franchise, it stands out for being a live-action adaptation rather than an animated series or film.

Gundam Neo Experience 0087: Green Diver (2001) – UC 0087

Gundam Neo Experience 0087: Green Divers is a CGI short film that was released in 2001. The story is set during the final days of the Gryps conflict, which takes place in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam timeline. The focus of the plot revolves around two siblings named Asagi and Takuya. They are aboard a civilian transport ship heading towards Earth when they unexpectedly find themselves caught in the midst of a fierce battle between two factions: the Titans and the AEUG.

Gundam Evolve (2001–2007)

Gundam Evolve is a collection of promotional short films set in various timelines of the Gundam series. It includes side-stories, alternative scenes, and bonus omake from different parts of the Gundam canon. Initially, there were five Evolve episodes created between 2001 and 2003. However, due to its popularity, Bandai produced an additional ten episodes from 2004 to 2007.
